elder scrolls oblivion pc problems installing

I'm mostly posting here to follow, like mentioned in the beginning. Many people from other threads seem to say that people in this situation have to buy the deluxe DLC as a product key from a third party, since once GoTY is installed on Steam, it automatically states on the product page that i already own both GoTY and Deluxe, even though that is apparently not the case according to game files, thus it wont let me buy it 'again' and properly add it to my library. I guess because of how long ago i purchased the game, i cannot find the email receipt for this game, nor can i find it in my purchase history (i know i bought this game directly through steam, i didn't use a product key).Ĥ. When i go into the Data Files Screen of the home page, it only lists the Shivering Isles and Knights of The Nine.ģ. I have installed GoTY, but my library screen makes no mention of deluxe (even though the consensus is that GoTY and deluxe are considered the same thing in terms of what you should have, and the fact that once you purchase GoTY, Steam also states it adds Deluxe to your library as well).Ģ. to help add more context into my situation (and possibly OPs as well) here is what i already know and can say about when i try to locate/ activate these files:ġ.
